This page explains what EchoInvoice does with your information. The short version: the documents you create stay in your browser, and the only data that leaves your device is anonymous usage statistics and whatever the advertising services collect if you consent.
Client names, addresses, amounts, bank details and every other field you fill in are stored in this browser using local storage and IndexedDB. They are not transmitted to our servers, and we have no way to read them.
Because there is no account, this data does not sync between devices. Clearing your browser storage deletes it permanently. Use the data management screen to export a backup if you need to keep it or move it.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are used and where people get stuck. It records page views and interaction events with its own cookies. It does not receive the contents of your documents.
Analytics cookies are only set after you accept them in the consent banner. You can change that choice at any time.
Some pages may carry third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings, or through aboutads.info for other vendors.
Some articles and completion screens carry affiliate links, labelled as such where they appear. If you follow one, the affiliate network may set cookies to attribute the referral. We receive a commission only if you subsequently sign up or purchase.
Necessary storage keeps your drafts, saved documents and display preferences. It is required for the tool to work and is not used for tracking. Analytics and advertising cookies are optional and governed by your consent choice above.
This policy may be updated as the service changes. The Japanese version is the authoritative text where the two differ. Enquiries can be sent through the contact form on the Japanese site.
