These terms apply when you use EchoInvoice. Using the service means you accept them.
EchoInvoice lets you create business documents in your browser and download them as PDFs. No account is required and the service is free to use.
What you enter is stored in your browser on this device and is never sent to our servers. Because of that, we cannot recover it for you. Keeping backups of anything you need is your responsibility, and the data management screen provides an export for that purpose.
You are responsible for the content of the documents you produce, including whether the amounts, tax treatment and registration details are correct for your situation. Check each document before you send it.
The explanations on this site are general information about Japanese practice, not professional advice, and they may become out of date as the rules change. For a decision that turns on your own circumstances, consult a licensed tax accountant or the tax office.
The service is provided as-is. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it without notice, and we do not guarantee that it will be available or free of defects.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service, including loss of data held in your browser or consequences of a document you issued.
Do not use the service to create fraudulent documents, to infringe the rights of others, or in any way that breaks the law. We may restrict access where we believe this is happening.
These terms may be updated as the service changes. The Japanese version is the authoritative text where the two differ, and the language switch in the header leads to it.
